Claire Lake owes her impulse to produce a show from the ground up to her childhood, when she carried around a stool to perform impromptu tap shows, especially if no one asked for it. Thanks to her parents, she began in theatre and performed in over 30 shows by the age of 16. Then, she began writing sketch comedy and cabaret shows to shock the neighborhood parents. She currently lives in Los Angeles, and is a prisoner of love in the advanced levels at Groundlings School of Improv. In the short time since moving to
LA, she has performed stand-up in Cake Batter's Funny Women Festival and
written/produced/acted in her dark comedy play,"Don't Spill Your Drink" at the (June) 2016 Hollywood Fringe Festival. After graduating from New York's American Musical and Dramatic Academy, she visited her Texas home as much as possible. She's working on writing and shooting a comedy series in between stints of yoga kicks and overeating pasta.
